We are embarking on our most ambitious campaign to fulfill our bold vision of renovating our newly purchased facility in Pittsburg, CA.

For nearly four decades, Options Health (formerly Options for Women) has been a cornerstone in the community.
Since 1984, our clinic has impacted thousands of families throughout Contra Costa County and beyond, yet there is much more work to be done to reach more people with the message of hope and life. With a steady foundation, strong leadership, dedicated staff, volunteers, and faithful support from our community, our programs and services have flourished. We have grown beyond our current building capacity and leasing is not a long-term sustainable option.

WHY NOW?
In the US, youth ages 15-25 account for almost
1/2 of the 20 million new STDs reported each year.
Today, 1 out of every 4 women in the US will have
an abortion by the time they are 45 years old and
50% of all pregnancies are unplanned.

At Options Health, our programs and services provide the education, support, and compassion that women, men and teens need to make life-affirming choices.

- Limited Obstetrical Ultrasound
- Mobile Medical Clinic
- Parenting Program offering classes, mentorship, and material assistance
- Fatherhood Program offering skill building classes and mentorship
- Sexual Health Education Program for teens and their parents
- Abortion Aftercare Program offering compassionate care for those seeking healing and restoration after an abortion
73% of those considering abortion chose life for their baby at Options Health as a result of our programs and services.
The City of Pittsburg and surrounding areas need a dedicated pregnancy and sexual health center, and we are prepared and committed to growing with the city to better serve the community.
OUR PLAN
Just minutes from Los Medanos College, our new facility is conveniently located off Highway 4 and within walking distance from the Pittsburg Center BART station. This central location and ease of access will allow us to better serve the low-income and uninsured population.
Our transformed facility, once fully renovated, will include an additional counseling room, exam room, and educational classroom. This will enable the center to significantly expand medical services and parenting education, including the addition of our F.I.T. program (Father’s In Training), and most importantly, double the center’s capacity to serve individuals in need throughout the community.
Our larger 3,684 square foot building will have the capacity to increase the number of families we serve in the future by 50%.
PROJECT TIMELINE
2021: Escrow closed in February, and Capital Campaign was launched
2022: Renovations began on August 15, 2022
2023: Renovations to be completed in the Spring
2024-2025: Continued fundraising efforts and all funding to be secured

LEGACY OF LIFE NAMING OPPORTUNITIES
Legacy of Life naming opportunities for gifts $10,000 and above will be highlighted on a special memorial wall within our new center. Gifts between $1,000 - $9,999 will be grouped and named as additional community partners.
